A very disappointed and frustrated customer. I incurred the cost of a replacement flight from Windsor Ontario to Toronto because of multiple air Canada flight cancellations. Runway repairs at Toronto resulting in cancellations from Windsor daily, ongoing until 16th May. Customer service number overwhelmed with calls due to disruption so the airline post a message telling poor customers that they are too busy to answer calls. I asked a representative at the airport (after second connecting flight was cancelled) why the airline would continue to book passengers and was told by the air Canada staff member that I was stupid!!!!!
Totally understand that the runway repairs need to be done but really don’t understand why such a large business would not be adequately prepared for the disruption and take the relevant business continuity steps to prevent inconvenience to passengers. I have paid $350 for a Porter airline flight and would really like a refund. Doubt I will get one

Air Canada are now referring all phone callers to Customer Care from UK to an 00 800… number which is barred by my mobile phone provider, I don’t have a landline. There is no UK address given on the Air Canada website.. They had promised to refund withing 14 days of a cancellation as it was within 24 hours of booking, but the telephone number given at the bottom of the email confirming the cancellation refers me only to the 00 800… number. It is now over 2 months since I cancelled and have received no refund to my credit card. I am over 1900GBP out for pocket and no way of contacting them again.

I am disabled and want to check washroom facilities on board are suitable and also that an onboard wheelchair is available.

Having difficulty finding an online form or contact number for this query. I reserved and paid for 2 Standard seats on a flight from Heathrow to Calgary 01/08/2018 and also on return flight 21/08/2018. Then I changed them to Preferred seats. How do I get the refund due? Is it automatic to my credit card? Or do I need to claim?
You need to update your air-canada-reservations-office-in-united-kingdom website as telephone number given leads to a very unhelpful reference to another website to obtain a north american number. Not much use!!!
I want to reserve an aisle seat on flight AC LHR to YVR departing Thursday 06 Sept 2018, 2:10 pm. I definitely want an aisle seat due to health issue. Please advise how to do this. 1. The phone number 0371 220 1111 no longer works – nor does the rip-off 0871 number
2. Why are we in the U.K charged to contact reservations whilst in North America it is a toll free number
3. 30/04/19 was told, when I tried at 06.00, there would be a 20 minute delay.
4.. 01/05/19 There is a 40 minute wait when calling Reservations on the Canadian number
5. Why is it no matter what time of the day, or night, the call centre is busy and experiencing long delays?

I am extremely disappionted to learn that your reps in Cuba have not been supportive of my niece and her boyfriend following the loss of their baggage on Monday. They have been unable to purchase suitable clothing or basic tolitetries in the hotel or from the nearby market. Air Canada not bother to respond to all of these bad reviews. I will use any other airline before I use them again. They are impossible to call, have no address to personally attend and do not offer web site assistance. Really, they should be out of business. I’m going to the ticket agent at the airport to make the changes I need. This is a four hour round trip ride on the tube in London. If anyone reading this has an option, choose any other mode of travel.
VERY URGENT I have been trying to contact your reservations office ALL MORNING to change the dates of our flights from April to September. My internal flights from Vancouver to Castlgar have been cancelled by air Canada on 8th July and the return two weeks later due to Covid 19. I now need to speak to someone regarding my flights from Heathrow to Vancouver on 8th July and have had the problem of trying to speak to someone, phone does not answer or saying not in use. Air Canada operates now as a renegade less-than-third-world standard airline that should not be able to represent Canada as a people carrier. My father died recently while I was visiting him in Canada and it was impossible to get through to them by phone and they have not responded to my online request for a refund for the flight I was due to take on July 4th. Essentially almost a month later they have stolen my money, ignored in a time of crisis a need to be refunded that flight, having no choice but to use another carrier at a later date to continue my journey. Clearly they are winding down the airline and using people’s money to cover as much of their own costs as they can before the company crashes. It’s disgusting and they should be held to account by the Canadian authorites.
