Travelers interested in registering for TSA Pre✓™may enroll at the RNO Pre-check application site on first floor of the terminal building.

TSA Pre✓™is an expedited screening program that allows travelers at security checkpoints where you can keep your wallet, shoes, belt, jacket, laptops and 3-1-1 compliant liquids / gels (in carry bag) at the TSA Reno-Tahoe International Airport.

RNO Security Checkpoint Contacts

The security checkpoint is opened an hour to 90 minutes before the first departing flight of the day. Only ticketed passengers can access areas beyond the security checkpoint. Security Documents or Non-Passenger Escort (NPE) passes may be given to someone who is meeting or escorting, those who

Unaccompanied minor (children ages 5-11 years old traveling alone).
Disabled person.
Young travelers under the age of 18 years old.
