Dear Sir / Madam,
We recieved the email below in regards to refunding of taxes and a partial airport and aviation fees due to cancellation of a flight after the scheduled flight time. As instructed we emailed the Turkish airlines Munich sales office but have not recieved any feedback until now and it has been more than two weeks. We called the number listed and talked to a lady from a call center who informed me that I have to personally go to Munich to sort this out. What is the use of an email address if one has to travel physically to the airport office which is more than 40 km from where I live. The phone number listed for the Munich office is also a foreign number in Turkey and is only answered in turkish.
Below is the email I recieved from the customer contact center in Istanbul:
Dear Jackline MAUNDA,
We have received your message dated 3rd of March 2017.
We would like to inform you that based on your message we have contacted with the raletad law deparment.
In case of cancellation after scheduld flight time, it is only possible to refund the taxes and a partial airport and aviation fees. Since tyour ticket does not cancel at the time foreseen in the law (until the flight is operated), full ticket refund is not valid for the ticket.

Hello, I am trying to reach your sales office at Munich Airport, Since several trying to reach you by Telephone, I did nor succeed. I have two questions I booked on your Journey TK 1630 Tomorrow from Munich to Istanbul, I am a transit passenger with RJ flight RJ 5166 to go to Jourden( evacuation Journey). Could you tell me if it is possible to move the current flight to TK1636 on the same day to minimize the time of my staying at the Airport? Is rearranging flight free of charge? please call me on the telephone
I booked last July 2020 to travel with my family from Munich to Port Harcourt Nigeria but due to Covid-19 Lockdown there was no flight, Now we want to travel by July this Year and my Agent was saying that I must pay for €145 each for rebooking. Is this obtainable in your Company and why should I pay for rebooking hence it was not my fault that I did not travel in July 2020.
