From 22 December 2021, 2359hrs (SGT), there will be no new ticket sales for all designated VTL (Air) flights for entry into Singapore until 20 January 2022, 2359hrs (SGT). Ticket sales for entry from 21 January 2022 will also be temporarily reduced.
Travellers who already hold a ticket for a VTL flight can continue to enter Singapore under the VTL (Air) on their originally planned date, provided they meet all VTL (Air) conditions. Applications for the Vaccinated Travel Pass (Air) will remain open.
What is Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL)?
Vaccinated Travel Lane is mainly designed for the quarantine free travel for the passengers who have completed full COVID-19 vaccines. Travelers can travel between Singapore and the following countries: Australia, Canada, Brunei Darussalam, Denmark (There may be some entry restriction. You can check with your airline), France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
- From 15 th November 2021, travelers can travel from Singapore to South Korea
- From 29 th November 2021, travelers can travel from Singapore to Malaysia
Who are the Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL Air) Countries/Regions?

How to apply and obtain Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) / VTP Approval?
Requirements for Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) application:
- Short-term visitors (including business and official travel), or Long-Term Pass holders (Long-Term Visit Pass, Student’s Pass, Work Pass or Dependant’s Pass) are required to apply for a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) between 7 to 30 days prior your departure to Singapore. For the children under 12 years and below need not to apply. For more details, visit https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg/vtl/apply-now.
- As of 15 th November 2021, VTP application is already open for Australia, Brunei, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, South Korea, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States. From 22, November 2021, VTL application will be open for Malaysia, Finland, Sweden (Singapore Airlines does not currently operate flights to Finland or Sweden)
- Singapore citizens and permanent residents are not required to apply for a VTP, but permanent residents will need valid re-entry permits.
- VTP is free of charge to apply.
Procedure to apply and obtain Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) approval
1. Visit https://eservices.ica.gov.sg/STO1/VTL
2. If you want to create a new application, click “create new VTP application”
3. Enter the name and email to receive the OTP. Enter the OTP received to proceed with the next step.
4. Select the origin country and the travel date
5. Select the traveler type whether you are applying as a short or long term visitor and enter.
6. Enter all the required details and proceed
How to check the status of VTL Application?
- Visit https://eservices.ica.gov.sg/STO1/VTL
- Click “check VTP application status” to check your status.
- Enter your passport number or FIN details
- Enter the departure date and proceed to check the status.
What are the requirements to travel under Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL)?
Travelers who wants to travel under VTL, they are required to follow the terms and conditions:
- All the travelers including Short-term visitors and long-term pass holders will need to apply for a VTP to enter Singapore under the VTL
- Travelers need to stay in one or more of the VTL countries in the last 14 consecutive days prior to departure to Singapore.
- VTL travelers are required to take pre departure and on arrival COVID-19 PCR tests and must have negative PCR test result. Pre departure test must be taken within 48 hours before departure to the Singapore and on-arrival test is at the Airport.
- Children who are 2 years and below (as of November 2021, children born in or after 2019) are not required to undergo these tests.
- VTL travelers must complete the full cycle of vaccination and show the proof of vaccination issued from VTL countries or Singapore.
- Children who are 12 years and below do not require to fulfil this conditions if they are accompanied by a VTL traveller who fulfils all the above requirements.
- All the VTL travelers are required to travel on the designated VTL flights. For the transit, they can use another VTL country to take a designated VTL flight into Singapore.
- Once obtained a VTP approval, short term visitors can apply for a visa to enter Singapore.
- Short term visitors must use the TraceTogether app in Singapore to facilitate contact tracing.
- Short-term visitors and Long-Term Pass holders holding a Vaccinated Travel Pass must arrive on a designated VTL flight.

What may be the reason for Vaccinated Travel Pass VTP approval rejection?
If anyone facing an issue of not getting VTP approval, you need to check
- whether your vaccination QR code is valid or not
- whether the details in the application is correct or not
- the passport validity is less than 6 months.
What is the validity of VTP?
- VTP is valid for single entry only. If your flight date has changed, you need to re-apply.
