How to register with Star Alliance Biometrics?
Registration must be done at least 24 hours prior to your departure . You will need your valid passport and the latest version of the Miles & More app.
Minimum age to use Star Alliance Biometrics: Age of 18.
You can register for free and receive your Miles & More service card number immediately through Miles & More.
1. Open the Miles & More app:
- Select “Star Alliance Biometrics” and agree to your name and Miles & More service card number being passed on to Star Alliance Biometrics.
- You will be redirected to the Star Alliance app.
- Requirement for registration: Make sure that you have installed the latest version of the Miles & More app.
2. Create profile:
- In the Star Alliance app, agree that your biometric data may be collected and used for identification at the airport.
- Set up a six-digit PIN and security question for your biometric profile.
3. Take pictures:
- Take a photo of yourself which will be used for identification at the airport.
- Please also take a photo of your passport for a one-time comparison of your data.
4. Change settings:
- Set your personal preferences for the use of your biometric data. At the end of the registration, your entries will be validated.
- You will then receive a notification of successful registration in the Star Alliance app.
