Indigo Airlines

• A war widow or serving or retired personnel or the spouse/ dependent child of the Armed forces or Paramilitary Forces of India.
• Documents required: Valid photo Id is mandatory at the time of Check in. Passengers failing to provide relevant ID will be denied boarding.

GO FIRST

• Serving or retired personnel of the Armed forces or Paramilitary Forces of India & war widow only.
• Serving or retired personnel of the Armed forces or Paramilitary Forces of India alongwith their respective spouses and dependent children
• Required Documents: Valid Photo ID and relevant Military ID has to be presented at the time of check-in, failing which they will be denied boarding (T&C apply).

Spicejet

How to cancel a ticket on IRCTC Air?

• All cancellations have to be done at least 6 hours prior to the flight departure time.
• Go to Flights — Login to your Account where all the Transaction would be displayed.
• Select the transaction where you can cancel as per the segment or passenger.

Cancellation charges

As per the Airline rules and policies, cancellation charges will apply which is mentioned in the Voucher for your reference. Additionally IRCTC cancellation charges of Rs.250 per passenger per sector will be charged in addition to the above charges.

Refund

The refund will be processed by us in 7 working days from the time of cancellation; it would take additional 4-5 working days for the bank to credit it into your account.

• Changing of a passenger’s name is not possible.
• You may contact the toll free number of the call centre for any change on the booking.
• You may also call the airline for rescheduling your journey. Flight change fee and the applicable fare difference may apply.
• Additionally there will be an administrative charge of Rs 300

6. If i missed my flight, can i get any refund?

• Missed Flight are considered a “No Show” and refund would depend on the airline policy.
• No show charges will be applicable depending on the policy set by the airlines.

7. If the Flight is cancelled, how / when i get the refund?

• IRCTC Air will need the endorsement copy from the Airline stating that the flight was cancelled. You can send us the scanned copy by email and we will process the refund.

8. Why does my IRCTC login ID & password not work while I make Flight booking.

• IRCTC has come up with a separate module for flight booking, therefore you need to enter your latest email ID as user ID & you mobile number as password.

9. What time do I need to get to the airport?

• Customer check-in at the airport opens 2 hours before, and closes 45 minutes prior to, scheduled departure.
• Boarding Pass: Check-in counters close 45 minutes prior to departure and boarding gates close 30 minutes prior to departure time. You may confirm the same with the respective airline.

10. I am unable to travel and would like to transfer the ticket to another person. Can I amend the name  online?

• No. You cannot change the name online. You would need to cancel your ticket and book a new ticket with the new passenger’s name. Cancellation charges, if any, will be applicable accordingly.

11. Can I cancel the segments and make the ticket open dated?

• Some airlines allow passengers to cancel the segments and awarded a credited note for the same.

12. Can I carry my own food onboard to eat?

• Low cost carriers like SpiceJet, IndiGo, Air Asia and GO FIRST allow own food onboard.
• Kindly re-confirm the same with the airline and can also purchased by paying extra amount while booking/onboard.

13. Can I make an online booking for a child traveling alone?

• Yes, unaccompanied child can be book online but No Infants book online.
