My sis got a parcel containing an iPhone, a Mac book pro laptop nd 600 pounds and she was told to pay #27,500 to deliver it to her to Lagos or pay #15,000 to deliver to Abuja.. At first she was asked to pay #7,500 by your parcel dispatch manager, Okoh Prudence to an Access bank account.. She paid the #7,500 before the lady now told her that it was no the amount to clear the parcel to her, that she will need to pay more.. She has asked the lady for a refund, telling her to return the parcel back but she hasn’t paid the money back.. My uncle on hearing this is so angry that he is trying to sueyour cargo for bad customer care services and deceiving your customers. I hope you people do something about it.. Same thing happened to me, I got a parcel from USA containing an iPhone 11 pro and a MacBook pro with 5000$, I was expecting the package to land in lagos, but instead Emirates sent me a message saying my parcel landed in Abuja, then I called the customer Care line that it should be delivered to me in Lagos here, they requested for a delivery fee of 9,500 na naira, I sent it to them, then after that the customer service called me saying he said 29,500 not the latter, then I sent it to him thinking that’s all, he called me again saying I have to pay local duty charges, I got angry at him and raised insult at him, he said I have to pay the charges in order for me to receive the items, i thought about it and then later sent him the money because I didn’t want anything to happen to the items, e never finish oo, this customer service still called me again saying custom held the goods, he said they found some dollar notes inside the package which was not on the receipt, he said the custom officers requested for 200,000 in order to receive my package, I was confused , i didn’t know what to do, I had to let it go. Please be warned there are scammers working with Emirates, be at alert.

I got an apple macbook pro and an iPhone 11 Pro and some dollars from the USA, then when it got to Nigeria, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe airpot, they sent me a text that I should come for pick up, but I am staying in Jalingo Taraba state. So the lady which was the customer service asked me to pay 9500 naira, so I paid. After I paid, the lady said she said 29500 naira and not 9500 naira. So my friend helped me with the remaining 20000 naira to make it 29500 naira. So they asked me to call the delivery man, and the delivery man said he wants to pass it through custom officers. Then later, he claimed that the custom officers have seized the goods because of the cash, and I should bring a sum of 75 thousand naira before they can release it. It was at this point that I was sure that I have been scammed of my 29500 naira that would have gone a long way for me in the month.
Did I mention how rude they were. Both the customer service lady and the delivery man were so rude. The man was even insulting me.

I called the number and it was picked by Mr Frank . Mr Frank told me to call back some minutes to verify the items.

Reading through the comments, many of us have been scammed, all in the name of a package sent to different location, this guy message me telling me he’s from Florida USA, the first I did for confirmation is to check is number with the area code, and it was real, ok i talked to him, we were friends that I even get fond of him, he wanted me to send me an iphone due me not picking his video call and which i did not send, he didnt talk with me for a while, but i message him and told him i was sorry, he send the package the following week, N.B when he went to the store to get the phone, he sent me the receipt, he later make a video call me, so it was confirmed he was real. I told him to send the package through DHL, it a courier service, i would surely get the stuff here, around 1 in the midnight, he message me that the parcel has been sent that he use Emirate, airways to send the parcel and the package would be here in the next 8 to 9 hours, and that was exactly 8 or 9 in the morning, in the morning around 8am i recive message about my package ready for clearing and to call the customer care, which i did, mind you i saw the package box with my name, the reciever’s, which my full name that i drop sender’s name and his name as sender, but not in full and the ref no which 609, I was told to pay 9500 for the delivery which i have not pay now, i ask my oyibo friend he told me he’s company where he work woulnd not allow him to send money to people, and also he sent me a video from the airport so as to tell me he has send the stuff,with all this i think i would have to reach out to the real emirate customer service, i sent them an email already and sent them a message on their facebook page, on a normal circumstances, Emirate is not the one scamming us, it a planned work of the Oyinbo and the black here, leaving emirate, i dont think they no about this, because they wont wait and let someone spoil their name for them, lets be carful of the Oyinbo guy.
